OneFix is Digital Yacht’s newly introduced hi-performance GNSS (global navigation satellite system) sensor. Using multiple satellite networks and new dual band technology, it’s been designed to offer super-accurate positioning (typically better than 1m) and importantly has robust anti-spoofing algorithms built in for more reliable navigation. It can also fit to just about any navigation system (including legacy units) plus connect to iPads and tablets and the latest multi-function NMEA 2000 compatible displays. OneFix promises to bring highly accurate, more reliable navigation to any boater. OneFix incorporates a dual band (L1 and L5) processor and works with GPS, Galileo, NavIC and Beidou to calculate a fix. Glonass (the Russian based system) is available as an option with a 2nd active antenna making for a very advanced system. OneFix has also been designed to connect to older systems via legacy NMEA 0183 as well as more modern systems with NMEA 2000. OneFix built-in web interface also incorporates data logging and event marking capabilities so key points of a voyage (or even fishing hotspots) can be logged to internal memory. You can download event markers and track log files in GPX and KML formats for easy overlay on Google Maps and charts. OneFix can generate industry-standard alerts on the NMEA 2000 bus, enabling "pop-up" notifications on compatible MFDs. When paired with the NavAlarm sounder, it provides an ultra-loud audible alarm to ensure critical warnings are never missed. OneFix generates alerts for position inaccuracy, positioning spoofing or errors, offering enhanced safety and reliability on the water. OneFix also supports a simple switch input for an MOB, such as Digital Yacht’s MOB input panel, and will generate a synthetic AIS MOB message on the NMEA 2000 network. By pressing the button on the Digital Yacht MOB panel, OneFix will generate NMEA 2000 MOB (man overboard) alerts. OneFix also has an input for alternative positioning systems such as STL from Iridium. These use triangulation from substitute satellite networks to provide an alternative albeit less accurate position fix (approx. 50m) but have the advantage of a more powerful signal and alternative frequency outside of traditional GNSS constellations. OneFix can accept data from these systems via NMEA 0183 and switch between networks allowing for a flexible multi-input, hub-based solution. Accessing OneFix web interface is very simple. The SeaTalkTM interface, originally developed by Autohelm in the early 1990’s, was included on pretty much all Autohelm and Rarmarine (and some Raytheon) products up until about 2012. As a result there are thousands and thousands of boats around the world that have a SeaTalk 1 network and many owners, for one reason or another, need to convert from SeaTalk to NMEA0183. Raymarine’s own SeaTalk to NMEA converter (E85001) is no longer available, and although some instruments/MFDs/autopilots have NMEA0183 interfaces, they do not always convert all of the data or are located in a difficult to wire to location. Digital Yacht’s SeaTalk to NMEA (ISO) Converter is a small but powerful interface that provides bi-directional conversion between a SeaTalk network and an NMEA0183 network or device. The NMEA to USB Adaptor works on PCs, Macs and Linux computers, and converts NMEA 0183 data, used by many marine systems, into a USB format that can be plugged into most modern computers. The adaptor is a bi-directional device so data can be sent to and from systems and supports traditional 4800 baud data or the higher speed 38400 baud rate used by AIS systems. LEDs show data being received and transmitted which helps with interfacing issues and all the electronics are encapsulated into the connector. This functionality already existed but required the use of a sophisticated Cerbo module. veKonvert is a lower cost, simpler solution for smaller installations that just need the electrical data displayed on a Multi Function Displays (MFD). veLink allows you to wirelessly connect up to eight Victron devices equipped with a Bluetooth interface to your NMEA 2000 network, covering the vast majority of installations. veLink enables the retrieval of essential data from Victron battery monitors (SmartShunt, BMV, etc.) on multifunction displays and chartplotters connected to the NMEA 2000 network: current consumption, battery voltage, service and engine battery status, as well as remaining autonomy/SOC displayed on chartplotters. veLink also provides information from a compatible shore power charger to accurately monitor the batteries’ charge current. The charger may often be installed in an inaccessible area so this wireless device makes monitoring easy Similarly, it retrieves data from MPPT solar regulators, allowing real-time visualization of solar input and panel exposure. For installations equipped with an Orion DC/DC converter, veLink displays the actual power being delivered by say, the alternator a service battery. veLink centralizes alarms from all these Victron devices allowing you to be immediately notified on your chartplotter or multi-function display in case of an issue, even without a smartphone. It is also possible to customize the names of all devices on the NMEA2000 network, for example: engine battery, service battery, windlass battery, starboard solar panel, etc. You can configure the veLINK by accessing its web interface. The AIT6000 is a Class B+ AIS transponder. It uses Class B+ AIS standards using SOTDMA technology and has a 5W power output for increased range and better long range tracking. SOTDMA technology is also used by AIS Class A transponders so the AIT6000 has the same priority when it comes to reserving a slot ensuring that it is always able to transmit reliably.
The transmission update varies depending upon the speed of the vessel wheras a regular Class B device just transmits every 30 seconds when underway.
Our latest Class B+ technology is now SPAIS enabled with additional messaging for the best satellite reception of AIS transmissions. SPAIS is Digital Yacht’s proprietary and specialist technology that optimises messaging from the transponder to include long range satellite capability.
This functionality can be easily enabled from the set up menu and will prioritise your AIS transmissions for satellite reception. This is ideal for offshore and ocean sailors wanting the reassurance of land-based tracking even when more than 20NM from the coast and away from coastal/terrestrial network stations.
The AIT6000 incorporates a patented zero-loss VHF antenna splitter, enabling the main VHF antenna to be shared safely between the AIS transponder, the VHF radio and even a FM/DAB radio. Thanks to this technology, there is no loss of signal or data, guaranteeing optimum performance for all the equipment connected.
You connect the main VHF antenna directly to the AIT6000, which then redistributes the signal to your VHF radio using the coaxial cable supplied.
Integrated into AIT6000 is a custom alarm for anchor drift using an algorithm to calculate the optimum drift radius based on depth and the scope of the chain for reliable notifications. There’s also an anti collision alarm based on CPA (closest point of approach) and TCPA (time to closest point of approach) AIS data. These alarms can be monitored through the wireless interface with attractive graphical displays of current status or NMEA 2000 Alerts can be sent to other devices on the network.
This allows sailors to receive critical collision-avoidance warnings even when a chartplotter is not in use. All features are accessed directly through a standard web browser, eliminating the need for complex software installation. There is a switched output on the AIT6000 power data cable which allows the alarm to attach to a sounder.
AIT6000 has also been designed to become an onboard hub for navigation. It features an NMEA 0183 interfaces for older, legacy chart plotters as well as NMEA 2000 for modern navigation systems. It also has PC and MAC connectivity via USB. The Nucleus really becomes the heart of your onboard electronic system.
AIT6000 sends AIS target data to any MFD/chartplotter with an NMEA 0183 or 2000 interface and it can also transmit the GPS position to a VHF DSC radio.

The GPS160 series of sensors is a high performance GPS designed for use with chart plotters Digital Yacht have introduced a specific version of the GPS160 which is a simple replacement for older Furuno plotter and GPS systems. Devices like the Furuno GP32, Navnet and GPS310/320 utilise a specific format for GPS data and this new sensor emulates that for easy compatibility. Some of these older GPS sensors have suffered from technical issues with the GPS system roll over changes which can render chart plotter systems useless. The GPS160F provides an economical and reliable solution to these problems. Please note that it cannot be connected to a GP32 display, but it can replace the GP32, outputting the same data to other Furuno devices that the GP32 provided. In conjunction with Furuno UK, Digital Yacht have developed a special version of their popular GPS160 Smart GNSS Sensor "QuadNav"that outputs the older NMEA 0183 sentences and data format that the legacy Furuno systems can read. Now if a Furuno customer has a problem with their existing Furuno GPS (GP310/GP320/GP32/etc.) they can use the new GPS160F as a simple "drop-in" replacement for their failed positioning sensor. The new GPS160F has been tested with a wide variety of legacy Furuno products including; the original NavNet MFDs, NavNet VX2,M1735 Radar, GP7000 and the FCV family of sounders. Digital Yacht have unveiled their TriNavTM GPS160, a new, high performance positioning sensor using GPS, Glonass and the new Galileo satellite systems for exceptional positioning accuracies and redundancies. Typical accuracy is better than 1m and data can be set to output at up to 18Hz for smoother plotter track displays. TriNavTM software technology also improves positioning vulnerabilities that could occur through spoofing and local interference. The device can be field programmed for a variety of modes such as single GNSS operation (eg Galileo only) as well as output configurations such as update rate, NMEA sentence structure etc. The GPS160USB variant ships with a 5m USB cable. It’s self powered from the USB source (PC, MAC or Linux). When installed, a virtual COM port is created on the host PC so navigation programs can receive positioning data. If a longer cable or the MOB feature is required, it’s best to utilise the GPS160 (standard NMEA version) with our USB-NMEA adaptor cable. A Class B AIS transponder requires a dedicated GPS antenna (all Class B units must have their own internal GPS and can’t use an external feed for regulatory purposes) as well as a VHF antenna or suitable VHF-AIS antenna splitter. The GV30 is a combination VHF/AIS and GPS antenna with twin coax feeds (33ft). It’s fitted with a standard 1 in threaded base so will mount onto a variety of deck, pole and rail attachments sold separately. The 33ft coax cables are terminated with a FME mini connector which makes running the cable easy as the connector is barely bigger than the 5mm cable. We then supply suitable adaptors for the TNC and BNC connectors on our AIT2000. The GV30 is just 7 inches high and 3 inches in diameter. Despite its compact dimensions, it offers very good performance as its specifically tuned to 162MHz (AIS frequency). The GV30 is also available with the AIT2000 as a bundle. What’s in the Box:

With more and more modern boats having an NMEA2000 network at the heart of their navigation system, it is really important that you have the tools to investigate the devices and data on the network should things not work as planned. Consisting of a new iKreate USB interface and an HTML5 based web app, the iKreate simulator can generate any number of NMEA2000 PGNs or replay saved log files of real life network data from any NMEA2000 system, regardless of brand. Just like our NMEA2000 Display App, our new iKreate SImulator takes a new approach and is the World’s first multi-platform, browser based NMEA2000 Simulator App that will run on Windows, LINUX, Mac OSX and Raspbian. There is no installation and if you can save a file and find it again, then that is as complex as it gets with just a single HTML5 file to worry about (less than 0.5MB in size). You need to use the app with a browser that supports the Web Serial API, which currently includes Chrome, Chromium, MS Edge and Opera. The iKonvert NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 Converter/Gateway is an intelligent and flexible gateway. Therefore allowing for new NMEA2000 equipment to talk to legacy NMEA0183 equipment. Conversions are bi-directional. For example, you may want to get the data from older NMEA0183 sensors on to your NMEA2000 network. Another reason being you have a new NMEA2000 only MFD and want GPS and Navigation data sent to your older NMEA0183 VHF and Autopilot. iKonvert can be used to accurately and intelligently carry out the required data conversions. Real life applications could include connecting together a number of different makes and models of equipment plus many more. iKonvert has been designed to satisfy as many of these situations as possible. As a result, we have built in a simple but effective mode selection method, via a set of DIP switches inside iKonvert. Just remove two screws, open the iKonvert box and select the mode you need with a small screwdriver. The next time iKonvert powers up, it will automatically carry out the conversions you selected. A number of modes already defined include; Heading, Sounder, AIS, GPS, Wind, Instruments and an all data gateway mode. This automatically sets the conversions to be done and the baud rate iKonvert will use. The BM100 is a complete system comprising SmartShunt and veKonvert NMEA 2000 interface. It is part of Digital Yacht’s iSeaSense range of NMEA 2000 boat instruments. With this solution, your multi function display becomes a sophisticated battery and energy management system. Digital Yacht’s new BM100 battery monitoring system allows highly accurate DC voltage, current and capacity measurements enabling reliable monitoring of your boat’s battery and electrical system. Core to the system is the SmartShunt. It measures battery voltage and current. Based on these measurements, it intelligently calculates the battery’s state of charge and the time to depletion for the remaining charge. It also keeps track of historical data, such as deepest discharge and average discharge current as well as the number of charge and discharge cycles. The smart shunt can also monitor the voltage of a 2nd battery - typically dedicated to engine starting. The system features a NMEA 2000 interface so your navigation multi-function display or plotter can display all key parameters. Modern MFDs from leading manufacturers such as Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno and Navico allow electrical battery data to be displayed via their NMEA 2000 interface. Alarms and alerts for low capacity and voltage can also be enabled. The BM100 also has a standalone wireless Bluetooth interface so your mobile phone or iPad can connect and display current, voltage, capacity, additional historical data, state of charge information and time to go based on remaining battery capacity. The product is a collaboration between Victron Energy and Digital Yacht. The system utilises Victron’s proprietary VE.Direct data connectivity as a source for the NMEA 2000 data. The BM100 is part of a wider group of products now introduced by Digital Yacht which bring NMEA 2000 connectivity to Victron systems using the VE.Direct interface. Victron solar panel controllers (MPPTs) and battery monitors can now also interconnect to NMEA 2000 via the veKonvert interface. We’re increasingly reliant on DC battery electrical power while afloat for lighting, refrigeration, pumps, winches etc so having accurate battery information and monitoring charge from various sources is essential. The service life of batteries depends on many factors. Battery life may be shortened by under-charging, over-charging, excessively deep discharges, excessive charge or discharge currents, and by high ambient temperature. Monitoring the battery with the BM100 will give important feedback to the user so that remedial measures can be taken when necessary. Doing this will extend battery life. NAVLink Blue is a new interfacing product from Digital Yacht, connecting BT devices such as phones, tablets and sensors to NMEA 2000 networks. It allows app developers for iOS and Android who support Bluetooth to take advantage of data that’s available on the boat’s NMEA 2000 backbone - for instance, GPS, AIS, instrument, engine or electrical information. The gateway is also bi-directional so Bluetooth sensor data can be communicated back to the NMEA 2000 system. This allows an interesting range of 3rd party sensors to connect to boat systems. NavLink Blue is self powered from the NMEA 2000 network so fits in seconds. It’s also easy to pair with the other BT device. For developers, Digital Yacht publish a SDK on their Github site which opens up raw NMEA 2000 data to coders for 3rd party development. Many boaters may be happy utilising the existing and popular Digital Yacht NAVLink WiFi gateway which works with apps like Navionics, AquaMaps, TZ iBoat, etc. and provides data for AIS, instrument and GPS overlays. However, Bluetooth brings a new range of low power connectivity options to your on board NMEA 2000 network and the ability to integrate interesting sensors too. Digital Yacht’s NS8 Network Switch is a rugged and reliable 8 port 10/100/1000 base-T network switch that is ideal for expanding a wired Ethernet network onboard a vessel. More and more boats now have a wireless router fitted or utilise devices like our 4G Connect for internet connectivity. For optimum data transfer speed, a wired Ethernet connection still offers the fastest and most reliable network connection onboard a boat and for Streaming TV, VOIP, Security Cameras and other data intensive services we always recommend using a wired connection. Our NS8 Network Switch provides a simple and rugged solution to increasing the number of wired Ethernet connections on the vessel. Designed to operate from DC supply, with dual redundancy power supply design, a DIN rail mount and eight RJ45 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, the NS8 allows you to reliably expand your boat’s Ethernet network. Installation could not be easier, simply connect one of the NS8’s RJ45 sockets to a LAN socket on our 4GConnect or 4GXtream routers, using a normal network cable and wire the NS8 directly to the boat’s 12v, 24v or 48v DC supply. Our 4G router will continue to provide IP addresses to any device plugged in to the NS8 (via DHCP) and you can immediately see the status of all the Ethernet connections by the flashing Yellow and Green LEDs on each of the NS8’s ports.
